How the cat age comparison works
Cat development is fastest early: the chart uses six months, one year, and two years as its main early anchors. After age two, the comparison adds about four human years for each cat year.
The number is a teaching aid, not a measure of biological age. Weight, health history, behavior, and individual change matter more for care decisions.
